What's the theory of the laser treatment?

Pilot high energy into veins, then tiny bubbles is generated because of the scattering character of the diode laser. Those bubbles transmit energt to the veins wall and make the blood to coagulate at the same time. 1-2 weekes after operteion, vein cavity contracts slightly, vein wall builds up, no blood flow in the operated section, Vein cavity obstructed by the vein wall over built uo.Bultrasonic wave indicates low echo, uncompressionable differing from acute great saphenous vein herombus. The vein wall inflammation abates serveral weeks after successful oeration and the vein diameter has reduced fro several months, the majority of the veins froms segmental fibrosis and difficult to be identfied.

After the laser treatment which pressurize the operated area immediately with compression bandages or dress medical compressive stocking. Moreover, press and close the vein cavity along the great saphenous vein by exerting extra pressure and enswathe it with gauzes. If there is no special uncomfortableness, compressive bandages or compressive stocking(for the thigh)should continue applying compression for 7-14 days(not unfasten or loosen). The local puncture burins once more with laser.

EVLT–advantages of the method

◆Does not require hospitalisation(patient can go home even 20 minutes after treatment)
◆Local anaesthesia
◆Short time of treatment
◆No incisionsor post-surgical scars
◆Quick return to dailya ctivities(usually 1-2days)
◆High effectiveness
◆High level of treatment safety
◆Very good aesthetic effect

The Triangel company offers radial optical 600um

The use of radial fibres provided by Triangel together with the TR-August 1470® laser guarantees full compatibility  of the set and thus effective energy transfer into the treatment field. This means that the nominal laser energy, as declared by the manufacturer, is fully available at the optical fibre tip, and thus it is equal to that delivered to the tissue. Many other lasers and optical fibres cause losses of up to 20%, which can cause vein recanalisation due to uneven energy density and power losses during EVLT procedure.
